Dal Forno Romano Dinner
Thursday 17th November 2022 at The River Café
In November, we are hosting a dinner exploring one of the Veneto, and Italy’s, leading estates – Dal Forno Romano. The Valpolicella property produces some of the most intense and complex, sought-after bottlings of Valpolicella and Amarone. At this event, co-hosted by Marco Pinna from the estate, we will taste our way through verticals of each wine – delving into how the wines evolve with time, pairing this mesmerising “vini da meditazione” with an exquisite menu prepared by The River Café team.

Napa’s cult Cabernet: Harlan Estate
Thursday 24th November 2022 at The Ritz
Harlan is one of the Napa Valley’s most prestigious wine estates. Established in the 1980s, Will Harlan was the first to capitalise on Napa's hillsides, taking a risk planting vines on previously uncultivated land. The unique soils in this difficult, higher-altitude terrain proved to be some of the finest terroir in the valley. It wasn’t long before Harlan’s Proprietary Red became one of the region's most sought-out, cult Cabernets. Hosted by the estate’s François Vignaud, this dinner will offer rare insight into the wine’s incredible evolution in bottle.

Magical Merlot: Pétrus dinner with William Kelley
Thursday 1st December 2022 at The Ritz
This is guaranteed to be one of the most in-demand events of our calendar. On 1st December, we will be tasting an unparalleled vertical of Pomerol’s most iconic estate – Pétrus. Held in a private dining room at one of London’s most famous establishments, The Ritz, we’ll explore the style of this legend via a vertical, with 20 vintages back to 1947. While the wines will undoubtedly be the star of the show, they’ll be served alongside a spectacular six-course menu, prepared specifically by Michelin-starred Executive Chef John Williams MBE to match the wines. William Kelley – Deputy Editor of the Wine Advocate and one of the world’s leading wine critics – will also be joining us to share his thoughts and knowledge of these exceptional wines.

Discovering the walled garden of Pomerol: Ch. Belle-Brise dinner
Thursday 15th December 2022 at Corrigan's Mayfair
In the run up to Christmas, we’ll be hosting a special dinner celebrating one of FINE+RARE’s favourite estates – Ch. Belle-Brise. This tiny Pomerol property is almost like an enclave of Burgundian philosophy on Bordeaux’s Right Bank and we’ll be exploring its remarkable, elegant wines via an incredible 23-wine vertical with vintages back to 1993 – one of the earliest made for commercial release. Join us in exploring the story behind this remarkable property, and the vintages on show.
